My Famous Turkey Meatballs (Recipe)
Everyone knows one of my staple recipes throughout the week are my easy turkey meatballs that I often prep. And anyone who has followed me knows how important it is to plan your meals ahead and food prep on the weekly to ensure you eat healthy.
I often get asked how to make my turkey meatballs, so I here I share the secret sauce with ya!
Ingredients:
1 red onion
Trader joe’s 1lb organic ground turkey
½ bag of spinach
Trader Joe’s everything but the elote seasoning
Trader Joe’s Mushroom and company multipurpose UMANI seasoning
Sauce: either General Tso’s stir fry sauce OR Trader Joe’s barbeque sauce
Olive oil (can be any sauce of your choice you like- either tangy or sweet)
Step by step instructions:
Preheat oven to 425’
Chop up the red onion and spinach and heat over stove top until caramelized. (throw spinach in after onion is almost cooked)
Take ½ cup of sauce of choice and throw it into big bowl
Add 1-2 tablespoon of of both seasonings
Line a pan with olive oil and aluminum foil.
Take meat and throw into big bowl
Add the onion and spinach
Mix well with hands and make into 1-2oz balls and place on lined pan with olive oil
Put in the oven at 425’ for 10 minutes
At 10 minutes take out and turn over completely
Cook for another 10 minutes
Serve and ENJOY!
